Oktober ist \"Breast Cancer Awareness Month\" (Monat zu Aufkl\u00e4rung und Informationen zu Brustkrebs).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Zusammenarbeit mit Healthy Bambini haben wir eine Informationsveranstaltung zum Thema Brustkrebs organisiert. Insgesamt 47 Eltern, darunter auch Erziehungsberechtigte unserer Sch\u00fcler und Frauen aus der Tuba-Gemeinde, nahmen daran teil. Eine \u00c4rztin hielt einen Vortrag in Twi und Englisch \u00fcber die verschiedenen Stadien von Brustkrebs und erkl\u00e4rte ausf\u00fchrlich, wie Frauen eine monatliche Brustuntersuchung bei sich selbst durchf\u00fchren k\u00f6nnen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Afterwards, there was an opportunity for all participants to be examined by a medical team and have a health check including vital signs and blood sugar. Later on we served drinks and fresh fruit salad while the children where playing with balloons and jumping ropes on our playground.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Zukunft m\u00f6chten wir mehr Veranstaltungen durchf\u00fchren, die Menschen aus der Kokrobite\/Tuba-Gemeinschaft f\u00fcr wichtige Themen sensibilisieren.
Das neue Schulgeb\u00e4ude, das sich derzeit im Bau befindet, wird Platz f\u00fcr mehr Teilnehmer und eine bessere technische Ausstattung bieten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
